Valerie is a Partner in the firm’s New York City office. Valerie was born in Paris, France in 1972. In 1994, Valerie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from The Colorado College. In 2001, she received her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she served as Notes & Articles Editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2002 and to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, in 2003.
Valerie began her legal career practicing bankruptcy law, but happily transitioned to alcohol beverage law within several years. She has been practicing with the firm for nearly 20 years, representing licensees in all three tiers of the alcoholic beverage industry as they navigate through licensing and trade practice matters.
Valerie is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Her practice areas include Alcoholic Beverage Control law and alcoholic beverage licensing and regulation.
